Our commitment
Advance Foundations Advocacy Center is committed to making our website usable by the widest possible audience, regardless of ability. We design and build to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as a minimum, and we consider accessibility a core part of every page we ship, not an afterthought.
What we've done
- All meaningful images have descriptive alternative text; decorative images are marked as such for screen readers.
- Color combinations on our site meet or exceed WCAG AA contrast requirements.
- The site is fully navigable using only a keyboard. Focus indicators are visible and branded.
- Forms have properly associated labels, required-field indicators, and error messages.
- All motion respects the
prefers-reduced-motionsetting. - The Parent Intake Form and Schedule a Consultation flow are tested with screen readers before every release.
Known limitations
We know accessibility is an ongoing practice, not a destination. If you encounter a barrier while using our site, please tell us. We want to hear about it.
How to report a barrier
Email zandra@advancefoundations.org with a description of what you were trying to do, what happened, and what assistive technology (if any) you were using. We'll respond within one business day and work with you to make the page usable.
