Information we collect
When you submit our Parent Intake Form, we collect your name, email address, phone number, your child's name and age, your school or district, the type of support you're seeking, and a description of your situation. We do not request sensitive health records or educational records through this form.
How your form reaches us
Website forms are sent over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection through Formspree, a form-processing service, which delivers them to our email. You can read Formspree's own privacy policy at formspree.io.
How we use your information
We use the information you provide solely to respond to your inquiry and provide advocacy support. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. We do not use it for marketing.
Who can access your information
Intake submissions are received by the executive director and the advocate assigned to your case. Access is limited to staff directly involved in supporting your family.
How long we keep your information
We keep intake records only as long as we need them to support your family and meet our recordkeeping obligations. You may request deletion of your records at any time by emailing zandra@advancefoundations.org.
Student records (FERPA)
FERPA (the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act) protects your child's education records held by schools. When we assist you in working with your school district, we do so as your advocate. We do not independently maintain or access your child's education records without your explicit permission on a case-by-case basis.
Children's privacy
This website is directed to parents and caregivers, not to children. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information at any time. Contact zandra@advancefoundations.org to exercise these rights.
